This Smithtown project was all about taking an existing backyard and making it work better without losing what the homeowners already enjoyed about the space. Top of the Line rebuilt and expanded the raised patio areas, added new retaining walls and steps, and carefully integrated the new masonry into the existing pool patio. The combination of gray pavers, darker borders and matching wall stone gives the entire backyard a much more finished, connected look.

The biggest difference is how the space now flows. What had been uneven transitions and disconnected areas around the house and pool are now defined by clean walkways, wide steps, usable raised patio space and planting areas that soften the masonry. Even the long poolside wall became a finished feature with space for colorful planters. It’s a great example of how the right masonry work can transform an existing backyard without having to start completely over.
